Yeah. I have been drawing though. Just not scanning.

So I'm asking for help:

My scanner does not pick up pencil, at all. I've tried tweaking the settings, and it just refused to pick it up. I like scanning before I ink just in case I royally screw up the inking, and sometimes I only ink half the thing. Does anybody have any idea how to get this to work?

I saw 'Dark Knight' last night with Scott. Amazing. Seriously, I've never been so impressed on both a plot and cinematic level. Heath Ledger was just, god-like in the movie. I seriously recommend watching it, you won't be sorry.

I bought a DS a week ago. Love it. I'm thinking of designing something on the DS, as it's just black. Some sort of silver "barbed wire" but not barbed wire kind of thing. Would be entertaining to say the least.

My art-box has officially died. Completely, and utterly, dead. There are two tiers in it, when you open it. Both pieces that attach the first tier to the second tier no longer stay in place, and therefore, half the time it refuses to open.

Gives me a good excuse to buy a new one though

Though I don't have much in terms of samples on my DA, I am taking requests (my art has changed since 'Hallway' and 'Me' so don't doubt me!) and if you have one, leave a message. I'll pretty much do anything... If you have some specific character, attach a reference please!

I actually have been drawing. And painting. A lot (I realized I posted that note last year. Damn I suck)
My scanner sucks, and I can't be bothered to navigate VISTA (my father's computer) to get what I need to get done.

I'm Getting back into art! I'm sick of staring at my sketch book.

Also I've recently been inspired to work harder.

Recently a lot of things have happened causing me to lose interest in a lot of things (ie: I quit my job, I'm almost failing two courses, counciling) but, but things have been getting better in some parts (ie: making a new friend ^_^) So, I'm going to get my butt back into gear (Mr. Gordon is probably cheering)

So, once I finish my stochiometry homework, I'm sitting down and getting to work. That's right people, I'm retreating back to the crappy scanner. Worse comes to worse, Lunayasha's scanner is good. I could always just take hers

Well I know I've been bitching about getting a scanner for quite some time now. And I went out and bought something. And it wasn't a scanner at all.

I bought myself a Wacom 4x6 Tablet for $130

And man do I love it. I can do digital art again! Rejoice!

So we'll see now if I still need that scanner.
I also have my own digital camera now, so I can do more photography. Yay!
