The mysteries that envelope my very being
The cloud I’ve become in my travels
Morphing who I am, and where I’m going
Always changing as the truth unravels
Thunder storms of thoughts in my head
Leading the way to sleepless nights
My decisions balance on thin fine thread
Forcing me to acknowledge the painful sights
I’m no longer wispy, but full of life
Drifting on the path I chose
Avoiding the dreadful strife
That may alert those
Who could never see
That I’m finally free

Another poem in the poetry project for my English 11 Honours class. This was a sonnet... I hope you realize what I'm referring to in the whole poem.

I wasn't too happy about it, just because this was my first sonnet and again written late at night, but I still love how quickly the idea and words came.

You get to write in English honours? Lucky... Our teacher just makes us write essays constantly.
